“convenient online shopping”
Research Hypothesis-Interviews
Our research shows that online shopping is a time costly.
Our hypothesis is that searching for a product, comparing at least 3 deals and ensuring that you are getting the best price will take at least 5 minutes per product.
We will be asking our interviewees to do a similar task in the interview to measure this hypothesis
Our research shows that the average consumer has about 5 items in their shopping list/wishlist.
Our hypothesis is that the average consumer will have an average of 5 items of the shopping list/wishlist.
This will be a general question asked within our interview
Interview key findings
After our interview process we found some key finding from our interviews:
it took all interviewees an average of 2.5-3 minutes to find a product and compare 3 different prices.
Our interviewees had an average of 6 items in their shopping cart/wishlist
100% of interviewees try to look for the best deals
Some interviewees want the best deals but cannot be bothered to put in effort in doing so.
Basically…
3 mins per item × 6 items on wishlist
equals
20+ mins average online shop
NOTE: This does NOT guarantee that consumer gets best deal
